Создателем данного проекта является композитор и клавишник Oliver Palotai, который известен благодаря своему участию в таких группах, как Kamelot, Doro, Blaze, Circle II Circle и Ули Джоном Рот. Группа Sons Of Seasons появилась в январе 2007 года, вскоре сформировался основной состав при участии басиста Jurgen Steinmetz (Silent Force) и вокалиста Henning Basse (Metalium, Firewind).
