Battlelore (англ. сказание о битве) — финская англоязычная группа, созданная в 1999 году Юри Вахваненом и Мийккой Кокколой. Темой всех текстов песен группы является творчество британского писателя Джона Рональда Руэла Толкина. Название «Battlelore» появилось на финской музыкальной сцене в 1999 году благодаря усилиям гитариста Йири Вахванена (р. 7 июля 1978) и басиста Миики Кокколы. На начальном этапе компанию этим парням составили Патрик Меннандер (чистый вокал), Томми Хаво (гроулинг, гитара) и Гортхаур (ударные). Итальянская команда Dark Horizon выпустила свой третий полноформатник. Angel Secret Masquerade - типичный итальянский Power с налетом Heavy, чистым приятным высоким вокалом, фоновыми клавишными и без особых композиторских изысков. Но слушается легко. Если прислушаться - тут много элементов AOR и даже Hard Rock. Запись и мастеринг альбома проходили в Finnvox Studio так что с качеством все в полном порядке.
