История cупер-группы начинается в 1995 году, когда клавишник Клайв Ноллан (работалл в группах Moria Falls, Landmarq (продюссер) Casino, Medecine Man, Shadowland, Pendragon,Strangers On A Train...) и барабанщик из Marillion Майк Поинтер решили создать совместный студийный проект. Но после появления первого диска, который просто шокировал большинство фанов прогрессивного рока, Арена превратилась из проекта в группу. И не просто в рядовую команду, а в ведущий коллектив всего прогрессивного музыкального мира. Последовало очень удачное турне, где группу принимали с теплотой и любовью. Продажа дебютного альбома превзошла все ожидания.

В феврале 2016 года на лейбле Escape Music выходит второй альбом группы RAGE OF ANGELS, лидером которой является экс-клавишник британских хард-рокеров TEN Гед Риландс (Ged Rylands). Помимо Геда, в его записи поучаствовал еще один музыкант с громким прошлым – вокалист Роб Моратти (Rob Moratti, экс-SAGA).
На дебютном альбоме (“Dreamworld”, 2013) с Гедом работала фантастическая команда вокалистов, среди которых были Дэнни Вон (Danny Vaughn, TYKETTO), Гарри Гесс (Harry Hess, HAREM SCAREM), Ральф Шиперс (Ralph Scheepers, PRIMAL FEAR), Матти Альфонцетти (Matti Alfonzetti, JAGGED EDGE, TALISMAN) и Роберт Харт (Robert Hart, BAD COMPANY). Для второго альбома было решено привлечь лишь одного вокалиста, которым и стал Роб Моратти, чей вокал чрезвычайно впечатлил Геда и Escape. В интервью для “Fireworks” Гед объяснил: “Не думаю, что у кого-то еще есть достаточный диапазон для того, чтобы спеть все треки на этом альбоме, потому что они варьируются от ми первой октавы до почти что пятой. Диапазон, который необходим, чтобы все это охватить, невероятен, но как это ни удивительно, Роб им обладает. Этот парень попадал в яблочко с каждым треком!”
Хотя все партии ритм-гитары Гед сыграл сам, для записи соло были приглашены Нил Фрейзер (Neil Fraser, экс-TEN) и Крис Грин (Chris Green, TYKETTO, FURYON).

Ghost Machinery – проект Пита Ахонена, появившийся в 2002 году, когда он решил реализовать все свои идеи в собственной группе. У Пита было несколько песен, не подошедших репертуару Burning Point, группе, участником которой он был в то время. Весной 2003 года Ghost Machinery выпустили свою первую демо запись "Ghosts in the Castle". В конце 2004 года увидела свет дебютная работа "Haunting Remains". Пластинка получила на удивление много очень хорошей прессы и отзывов во всём мире.
